I don't understand the referral thing. At least a couple blogs have 1 referral showing up, but when I click it, it brings me to a yahoo link, which in turn says that the session has expired if I click on it. What's the deal?

As best I understand it the referrals has to do with how many other sites are linked to that particular article. For example if I go do a Google search about Fates Warning (a metal band) chances are pretty good one of my articles about the band is going to show up in the search results. Someone clicks that link, I get a referral. As far as the yahoo one you are talking about, every once in a while I have noticed that I have referrals that appear to somehow be in a Yahoo mail message, and so the link is expired. Don't know for sure about those ones.

I can confirm that greywar's mom has done the Yahoo mail link thing before. I guess she had a function that would email her whenever his blog was updated, and it was sent to Yahoo mail. It's an odd web-based mail phenomenon, I guess.

I have my blog set up so that whenever someone posts on my article, or on an article that I am "watching" JU will email me. When I click on the JU link from that email, I get a referel if it is one of my articles.
